Welfare and Counselling
Since we appreciate that boarding life can at times affect new students it is important that all our students are given as much support and encouragement as possible. This enables them to attain the best education and character possible. In view of this Hijaz provides a Welfare Service allowing students to speak to someone other than their tutor or teachers. We have a number of people that can and do counsel students and these include the Housemaster, Student Manager, the Chief Executive and Principal.
Students are also allowed mobile phones, should they feel the need to speak to someone in confidence.
