Social Services Praise Hijaz

As Hijaz College is a boarding school it is subject to an annual inspection by the Social Services, which was carried out in January 2001. The Inspector was impressed with the behaviour and conduct of our students, in particular the respect they had for each other and their elders.

Below are some of the extracts from the report:

"Most of the comments made by the students were positive regarding their education and their general life within the College."

"Most students welcome the opportunity provided at the student council meetings to share their views regarding facilities and many stated that positive action is taken as a result of the discussions."

"It was very clear that the relationship between the students are very positive and they discussed how they support each other when homesick or new to the College. Some of the younger students stated that the older boys had helped them when they first arrived."
